Mushers Tim and Lori Layne are running their dog sled team 1,150 grueling miles from Anchorage to Nome, Alaska in the Iditarod race in a symbolic effort to raise money for cystic fibrosis.

Dylan and 30,000 other young Americans battle daily with a fatal disease called cystic fibrosis.

Tim and Lori Layne are racing the Iditarod for the first time in 2003.

A husband and wife team, they hope to raise $230,200 for Cystic Fibrosis during their first year.

Their motto is: CF kids can't quit, and neither will we!
